Thank you all for the replies. I have saved up (5500) towards a deductible for private insurance not one month to the one person who stated that. I need health insurance period, not solely for infertility. I am more then financially able to take care of a baby, me and finance already have a house, cars and everything is paid off with GOOD credit. I just thought it would be easier and not as expensive to pay for insurance then to pay for everything out of pocket, when i need to have health insurance anyway.

Here is the situation: My son is seven and severely autistic. He lives with his mom (we are divorced). As part of our agreement, I take care of his health insurance and medical bills, co-pays and things related to his medical care. Because he is autistic, he has to be knocked out for some procedures that he wouldn't normally be knocked out for.
